Job Title: Senior Communications Strategist
Barracuda Public Relations is hiring a Senior Communications Strategist. will organize, manage, and plan complex projects for the organization and its clients. Interested applicants should send their resumes and portfolios to info@barracudapr.com.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees a team of managers and specialists to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Leads an interdepartmental team to complete an assigned project on time, to client specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency.
- Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, clients, and vendors.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and clients.
- Assigns project teams.
- Conduct internal client and or project on-boarding to provide training and information required to promote and represent clients, projects, and programs.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Develops and implements successful communication strategies across a variety of topics, issues and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
- At least three years of related experience required.
- Knowledge or experience with working with government agencies.
- Public meeting data collection and analysis experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to attend events and public meetings outside of regular work hours.
